Variable Frames and The Hierarchy of Intelligence

No matter how thoughtful a person is, he or she will reflexively avoid a ball flying towards him or her. On the other hand, we humans can simultaneously think about a question like, "What are we living for?"

In other words, humans are simultaneously designing and carrying out multi-layered and multi-scale actions, from short-time actions like a reflex, to building a house over a year, and completing a work throughout lifetime, etc.

Namely, humans have become organisms that can solve problems in flexible and variable frames of time and space, achieving evolution in the phylogenetic tree. Intelligence is the name given to this "hierarchy of intelligence" that is structured and sophisticated.
