Digital Games and Character AI

In recent years, the world of digital games has become more realistic and refined than ever before.

Physical simulation has begun to run, and enemy and ally characters have come to be required to act as AI with autonomous intentions rather than mere puppets in the game world.

Interacting with a virtual but elaborate world, game characters spend their time fighting, protecting, and talking with players. Such AI requires high intelligence, and is called Character AI.*
