Humans evolved in Africa

The oldest human fossils were found in Chad from a stratum dating to about 7 million years ago. All human fossils until 1.8 million years ago have been found in Africa. In other words, humans were restricted to the African continent until the third quarter of their history. In particular, semi-arid areas far from rainforests were the main stage of human evolution.
