"Effect" is the arrow of intentionality. Consciousness is acting not only on thoughts, but on various objects outward in a unique way. This is “effect.”
Emotions, movements, judgments, etc. are always emotions, movements, and judgments about something, and these are "effects". Trying to act on something and having thoughts about something can be regarded to have the same meaning, at a deeper level.
In other words, "effect" is the arrow of activity that is expanding outward through the inside, in the environment. It may be an effect on something that exists in our minds, as well as an effect on objects in the environment. From there it will be possible to describe the flow of mind that leads to the world through the inner world.
