Reflectivity is a fundamental function of intelligence.
A grass shopper flies when it is vibrated. When a cat see a cucumber, it jumps and runs away. Reflections are the basic functions that allow organizations to survive in their environment.
The dog marking when it walks a certain distance. Crows collect and hide flying things. This is sometimes called habit.
But habits are not reflections. Habit is the relationship of an organization to its environment. Reflections are a patterns of behavior for organizations to actively participate in the world.
