Affordance and AI

When an organism is walking in a room, when grasping objects, the affordance in the environment consisting of space and objects (action possibility), and awareness of the situation is carried out by an unconscious space recognition ability. AI that recognizes the environment according to the ecology is called ecological AI, which mediates the relationship between the body and the environment. *

Being able to walk in a new room, being able to use tools naturally, and being able to move the body skillfully are challenges overcome by ecological artificial intelligence. It's also the concept that forms the core of the artificial intelligence concept that drives the game character.

*: For example, in the case of PC keyboards, using this "as keyboard" is one of the possibilities of the keyboard. The keyboard can be used to make sound effects "As a musical instrument" or use it "As a Pressure-point Pushing Stick". You receive some sort of message from the keyboard that says "can be used as a musical instrument" "can be used as a keyboard". You receive those message and use it as a keyboard or a musical instrument. Affordance means the interaction between those message and choice. [Editorial department]
