Entity

An entity is an element of a game.

By KR (Knowledge Representation), the information to be recognized by the organism is embedded in the game environment (with terrain and objects, it is called Level Design). As a side note, it is unique to the digital space that this “embedding” is possible, but recently, progress in IoT devices has enabled a similar approach in the reality.

Once the information about "knowledge representation", which corresponds to "the object" in the words of Umwelt (Environment World) or "the entity" in the words of gaming, is embedded, then AI can take actions using the information. *

*: For example, if there is a box in a room, we can give the box, or the object, the information that it can be "moved," and the vector (direction) in which the box is moved when it is pushed. Similarly, if there is a switch, we can give it the information that it can be "pressed," and what happens when it is pressed. Using the information on the action possibilities, AI can work both in the game world and the reality.
