Using words is an advanced ability of relatively evolved animals.
There are various dimensions to communication between living things, such as rubbing each other's skin, rubbing each other's noses, communicating various cries, leaving smells, and making gestures. Touching each other's bodies is the most elementary way of communication.
On the other hand, words can divide the world and convey more detailed and abstract content. In other words, organisms of the same species are, to some extent, segmenting the world by words in the same way. The establishment of such words, or the sophistication of the communication method, has become the cornerstone of the formation of society.
