Modern society becoming monkey-like 1

The tendency of modern society to emphasize the individual has resulted the role of parenting being transferred from the community to the family, and then to individual mothers.

Modern architecture that respects the privacy of individuals and families blocks our contact with neighbors. Declining birth rates spur that trend. With the disappearance of communal parenting, the focus of society is changing to the pursuit of personal interests and safety. At first glance, this phenomenon is similar to monkey society.
